Tuesday morning, Joe Macor announced his candidacy. He is co-vice president of the Irving Community Club, and he and his wife own Comfort Living Adult Foster Care in Fond du Lac. He has a degree in law enforcement.

"I'll closely watch where taxpayer dollars are spent and base decisions on how county actions impact families, 火红彩票代理owners, job creators, young people, vulnerable populations and others, because I'm fortunate to have some perspective in all those areas," he said in a press release.

            The other two candidates are:

Beth Olson, who currently holds the seat, is not seeking re-election. The 3rd District commissioner represents the western portion of Duluth.

A primary will be held Aug. 11 to narrow the field to two. The general election is Nov. 3.
