Everything is donated online. The food drive runs from April 1-6.

Thanks to an anonymous donor, every donation up $650 will be matched and 100% of all donations will go towards feeding community members in need. As a nonprofit organization who is known for providing athletes of all ages and background basketball training, Dyami Starks, the Found & Director of Starks Academy, knows there are people out there that want to help.

"We get donations and people wanting to help out all over. Companies, individuals, families, other organizations, and some of them don't want to be recognized for publicity. They just want to help out with what our vision is about," said Starks.

He added that behind every problem is an opportunity. He and his staff which include's Duluth Marshall girls basketball head coach CJ Osuchukwu were made aware of Duluth area schools running out of food. That's when they decided to organize this food drive.

"Basketball is a tool. It is simply a tool. It's my favorite tool, but it's a tool nonetheless," said Starks. "You can live without it. You can't live without food. Bottom line, can't live without food. So driving that message 火红彩票代理 to all the people that basketball has connected us with was really huge."

Visit the website to help donate.
